Forums - Gaming Discussion - I think my Amiibo addiction is a bit out of control.

If you keep them unpacked they gonna earn that money back serveral times over in 20 years time :)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I had no money to pre order falco, so will have to wait in line. Which is fine, gives me a chance to talk to real vgamers instead of internet ones.

Ouch. My FEELS!!!  :p jk

I hear ya. Also if you've been paying attention to the Amiibo market, they don't sell out like they use to. I'm sure there will be plenty of Falco's left. My current Best Buy had so many Pit and Dark Pits available along with Captain Falcons. They have a bunch of Shulks as well. Plenty of them to go around.

a lot of them are being re-released.

Nice collection! I've never was interested in collecting them all, and with the limited stock quantities have been really annoying so I haven't really bothered with trying to get the ones I want though I really want to get the Yarn Yoshis

wow. at risk of sounding like an asshole,.. what a waste of money.

It's a waste of money and because of that they are developing games like Amiibo Crossing. The horrors.

irrelavant,.. OP clearly stated "and im generally a person who keeps things in its original packaging" which was reenforced by the picture of everything in it's orginal packaging.

..and it's like my opinion man.  i can see at least 45 amiibo in the pic so at over $10 a peice that's at least $450 on pieces of plastic he won't ever even take out of the packaging.  that is just a huge waste to me.

Bird Lady: I’m just afraid if I do trust someone, I’ll get my heart broken.

Kevin: I understand. I had a nice pair of Rollerblades. I was afraid to wreck them, so I kept them in a box. Do you know what happened? I outgrew them. I never wore them outside. Only in my room a few times.

Bird Lady: A person’s heart and feelings are very different than skates.

Kevin: They’re kind of the same thing. If you won’t use your heart, who cares if it gets broken? If you just keep it to yourself, maybe it’ll be like my Rollerblades. When you do decide to try it, it won’t be any good. You should take a chance. Got nothing to lose.

Hehe. Read again. I agree with you. Amiibo to me is a big waste of time, money and resources. A big paywall for DLC and I wish with all of my being that amiibo dissappears with the NX.

what a let down? ehm i have like 20 Wii U games. and i have over 10 000 hours on my Wii U, hmm weird that it is a let down for you

Over 10 000 hours?
There have been 25296 hours since the console was released in Europe.
Which means you've played WiiU every day for over 9,2 hours on average.

I've been a kid too, but this sounds kinda mind-boggling.
Trying to wrap my head around how you have that much free time considering you probably go to school every day.
Assuming you get home from school at around 16:00, you'd have to play WiiU from 16:00 to 1 AM non-stop to fill your daily quota. And that's not counting taking breaks to eat, homework, socializing with friends, and I think you have a 3DS to play on as well?

I played Wii U everyday around atleast 5 hours each day, when it came out, i got it on release, i didnt have school when it launched and i just started school again for the first time, maybe its not exactly 10 000 hours but its preatty close now

I feel you. I have about 50 or so amiibos now and I don't even use them. They're just sitting on a shelf :/
