1. Platformer (Mega Man, Castlevania (old), Super Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby)
2. Action Adventure (Zelda, Metroid)
3. Racing (F-Zero, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing)
4. SHMUP (R-Type, Gradius, U.N. Squadron, Ikaruga)

Either RPG, Adventure or 3D platformer. Depending on the game. I'd say 90% of what I play falls into one of those categories though.

Simulation for me!
I just love like designing your city, houses, towns, restaurants etc.
Games such as Animal Crossing, Sims, Sim City, and those games on Android where you manage your own restaurant are the ones i really like.

My next one would be RPG.
But the RPG i love are the ones with MMO to it. Like those free to play games on PC then you spend money to buy those fancy clothes =D

I just dislike the simple sport games and racing games. I want things like power ups and colourful and unique landscape designs. 

Where's the ARTS/MOBA?

dota2 is the best game of all time bar none so must go with its genre. Next would be fps.

Everything tactical .Squadtactics, rts, tbs. A little rpg, fps, top down. Dislike everything sports and conventional plattformer.

Survival Horror

Strategy games, then RPGs, then Simulations, then everything else.

I honestly wouldn't like shooters a lot if I hadn't tried them.

RPG mostly JRPG. I guess Action would be second.
