This, lol.

VR is the new 3D. Something that's fun once in a while that companies are trying to convince us is the next big thing. I don't see this becoming a big thing at any price, but certainly not at 350.

Not surprising.. once this technology becomes easier and cheaper to produce, then it should become more popular

Watch PS VR launch at 249$.... just cuz of how good it would look, if Oculus rift launches near 400$.

Too much for me and I'd guess majority of people. I still want to try it out, but $200-250 was my price range if I enjoyed it. $350-400 is premium cannot justify.

Yep.  Pretty much this.

I really want VR in my life, but I simply CANNOT go that far.

And then there are 11 million people buying iPhones on day one that cost twice as much.

Not saying it's going to be big, just that price is a mere small hindrance when you do your marketing right.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

If $400 is the top end for VR, the future is looking very bright. The virtual tour business is going to move these devices in a major way. The work being done with museums, amusement parks, national parks, and such will be just as big, if not bigger than games. That wider reaching content is what is going to make people not even bat an eye at $400. The wider reaching content is the reason Smartphones sell 10's of millions of units a quarter, and it will be the same reason VR sees similar success.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Well an Iphone doesn't need a system already. Say this thing, vive and sonys launch at $399, a PS4 is $399 and you get 4 $60 VR designed games...you're passing the $1000 mark. Most Ios games cost nothing or a few bucks. This could be profoundly expensive.
