Where you getting that? The same size as Fuel?

Didn't think of this, was thinking open world games, but here.  This is open world, just not a fully traversable open world except by camera.  Would be the world's largest video game map.  Over two thirds of Japan.  So atleast 100,000 square miles.  The only thing is this game isn't open world and it's only fully explorable to the closest zoom when outside of combat.  Regardless whether you can traverse the entire map on foot, it's the largest detailed map.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 will be bigger if it uses the same or similar visual style.

Surely it will be bigger than Jak 3 or Jak 2 (I remember the Spargus desert in Jak 3 hahaha). However, the only home console I've got is a Playstation 2 xD so I don't know at all.

I guess it will be like GTA or more.

Right. So it's actually 154 square miles. That's slightly smaller than Andorra and slightly larger than the Gaza Strip.

The Witcher 3 is around 52 square miles, So Xenoblade Chronicles X is actually +3 times bigger than Witcher 3, and for comparison:

Skyrim was around 40 Km2
FarCry 4 was around 45Km2
Read Dead Redemtion was around 50Km2
GTA 5 was around 80Km2
The Witcher 3 was around 135Km2

Xenoblade Chronicles X is 400 Km2

I like how we've come to listing random numbers without any sources.

According to developers, the game is about five times as big as the original game, which at the time they claimed had a playable map the size of Japan. That's almost definitely untrue in both respects, but I feel like we have to account for the existence of the mechs and not scale the world down as if one mech = one person in height.

To answer the OP's question, probably not

XCX is bigger than the witcher 3.
