Hey not all of us are to blame for that!  I already bought The Order CE, Until Dawn, and will buy Tearaway this year.  I've thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 and am always willing to get new stuff.  Of course the vocal minority on gaming sites often aren't enough to compete with the COD masses

I hate the idea of if you own one console, that's the only one you can own. Because you can only love one company.

I also hate the idea that when someone loves Nintendo, they are "Gay, kids, immature" etc... I especially hate it when people use gay as an insult.

I ALSO hate it when people say if you get a Xbox One or PS4, it's the same console as before.

Comics are the very definition of a season pass ;)

But here's the thing: the Kickstarter game could take years to exist. It may not even exist at at all when all is said and done. However a 'fully funded' game can always use additional funding and manpower to develop new content and polish the game. It's not about what gets taken out (often VERY small inconsequential pieces of content), it's everything else that could be  put in. Triple A games as we know them now couldn't exist without preorders

I know it's multiple people and not just the same guy making statements but the hypocrisy of gamers is unreal.

One minute it's "You can't play sales" the next, it's "Sales! Sales! Sales!"

One day it's "The updates and installs ren't so bad.." Then, it's "I can play while downloading!"

It's "I'll never pay for online gaming" to "Paying for online gaming is fine because I get free stuff!"

"Call of Duty is destroying the industry" --"My console is THE place to play Call of Duty!"

"My company doesn't release DLC. They release FULL games." then "I can't wait to buy the new Amiibo!"

"To get the full Playstation experience, you have to buy a wireless router, a battery charger, an HD DVD player, etc. It's over $600!" becomes "I don't need a Playstation Camera. I'm glad Sony didn't force things on me. I want options!"

"My company's online is NEVER down. That alone is worth the $60 a year." suddenly becomes "Yeah, it has problems but it doesn't effect me because I wasn't playing that day."

"Your console sucks. It updates all of the time." now "My console updates all of the time but that's okay because the updates make it better."

"Your console doesn't run third party games as good as mine." "My console doesn't run third party games as good as yours but it's okay because unless they're side by side, I can't even see the difference."

"You can play your Xbox 360 games on PC? Everybody owns a PC so it's not exclusive." "You can play my PS4 game on a PC?? It's still exclusive because you can't play it on an Xbox One."

"Indies suck. They aren't real games. A REAL game is a retail game over 70% on Metacritic". "Why can't you get it into your head that indies are REAL games?!?! Metacritic is just opinions!"


And the list goes on. Your favorite company could release a console that kicked you in the balls and there would be some of you that justify it. Makes me wanna touch my penis.

As much as I like them, and how Iwata's approach was, I've got to say:

Nintendo is run like shit and I have no idea how they are still making a profit after half a decade of kicking themselves in the balls, shooting their feet, and taking arrows to the knee.

Which brings me to my second point:

I don't like armchair analysts...except when I agree with them.

Yeah, too right. We gamers suck.
