Nintendo will probably be releasing the new 3D mario game next year so it would be interesting to hear your wishes or idea's for the new game. Personally i'd love it to be a true successor to mario 64 where your hub world is a huge building but this time not a castle but instead a museum where you jump through paintings to warp to your stages just like 64. Being in a museum would mean that mario could travel to any time in history so the game could feature dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. That would be my dream scenario for the next mario game. You may not like the 64 type design, you may prefer the fludd pack of SMS, the spherical plains and insane gravitational features of SMG, the almost 2.5D multiplayer gameplay from SM3DW or you might wish for a brand new concept altogether. If you wish for something new it would be cool to hear what idea's you have.

a new 3D super mario game next year? woah i missed that information lol. well anyways, Your wishes are almost like mine. I would love a prehestoric setting for a mario game, that would be so awsome. Like the enemies are dinosaurs and  you get helped by a dinosaur buddy lol (other than yoshi). Or other historical envoirments. I want it to have the controls from super mario galaxy or something similiar to it

SMG3 would be great, not sure what else they can add to make it a bit unique and better than the 1st two. it would be hard, but i hope Nintendo can pull it off.

Is this how rumors become misinformation? All I want is a fun Mario game. 3d World was fun, so i wouldn't mind something like that. Or Galaxy. Or Sunshine. Or 64.

Nintendo should integrate original-style Mario Party and the core Mario 3D platform series together. As you progress in SP, you unlock new boards and mini-games -- some based roughly on various challenges you face in SP. Your local and *online* play in the MP mode allows you to go further in SP unlocking new worlds, powerups. If there's a way you could also keep drop co-op in the SP mode, I'm all for that too, but not a deal breaker.
