I'll be getting that Aqua Vita.

Other than that, I may invest some Christmas money into some more retros.

This guy is so biased.
He puts "plenty of indies" for Wii U but not PS4? PS4 has way better indies and a LOT more than Wii U. I'm pretty sure the Xbox One does too.
Low power consumption? Really? That's a pro you would actually put? Power consumption is not even a big deal, you probably save a few dollars a year compared to the PS4 & XBO
"Several niche exclusives", funny how you put those games for Wii U but not PS4, which has Guilty Gear Xrd, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded and upcoming holiday games like Dragon Quest Heroes, Tales of Zestriria, and Persona 5. And when people talk about "niche" games these days they're not talking about the quality of the game just the sales, which shouldn't really matter.
Oh and if you're going to say well some of those games are on PS3, read this.
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7505566
And funny enough you won't put Persona 5 which is cross-gen but will put Forza Horizon 2 & Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Oh and apparently Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, inFamous, Everybody's gone to the Rapture, Helldivers, Guilty Gear Xrd and a lot more games are "mediocre".

This.  Also let see what happen if the new zelda end up cross gen, you will see how that game will be considered exclusive using as an excuse minor differences.  I am calling it now.

They have all the big japanese game like FF15 and KH3. Also its pointless to focus on japan because if the x1 did well in japan it would only sell a max of about 5m. But microsoft is still kinda showing support for those who bought the x1 in Japan which is good for those fans. Phill Spencer said they will focus more on Europe. And i cant see X1 selling less that 15 million this gen in Europe which isnt that bad.

FF7 remake might or might not arrived on xb1 which IMO will be decided based on how well FF15 sells.  Not every popular game is guaranteed

Final Fantasy 7's reboot is a timed exclusive to the PS4. Xbox One will get it, eventually.

I'm getting a ps4 for the holidays for its diverse library of games. :D

Both companies have diverse libraries. The first Xbox was the shooter box, but the 360 and One are proving different. The PS consoles "Diversity" comes from the fact that they are more Japanese centric (which is definitely a plus). I just cannot stand when people dont admit that both will have japanese games. Sony will just have more.

There isnt 100% confirmation so what I said still stand.

It depends on the FF15 and KH3 sales. FF Type 0 bombed hard on Xbox One, DQXI will not be on Xbox One, the PS4 will have an even stronger stronger lead when the game will release, and insiders suggest a SFV type of deal. FF7 is also a Playstation game.

Nothing right now is pushing SE to make the Xbox One port. They maybe will, of course, but they really don't need to. It's very different from the TR situation.

It literally said "Play it first on Playstation 4" on the remake video. Come on, bro..its common sense by now. Its a timed exclusive.

Type 0 wasnt on any popular radar. Thats most likely why they made an HD version of the game and bundled it with the demo that they expected to
sell. Crafty little buggers. I think people learned their lesson from Halo and crackdown on the Xbox about buying a game strictly for the demo. The actual game will sell much better. Anyway, the FF trailer said "Play it first on Playstation" which has always alluded to timed exclusivity. This is no test. Isn't Microsoft in Squares back pocket right now with Tomb Raider? In the west Microsoft has the better deals with Japan and in the east Square and Sony are closer. Its just the ways of money and profit.

true but you also have to understand that xb1 isn't xb360 where it had a good marketshare almost everywhere thus investing in japanese games on xb360 made more sense back then that it's now.  "play it first on ps4" can mean a lot of things that it shouldn't be use as a 100% confirmation (DQX1 ring a bell?, the game is coming to ps4 with NX in mind).  Thing is ps4 is killing xb1 everywhere except US, so if FF15 and KH3 flopped hard on xb1 because that american audiencie didn't pick it up, you can expect ff7 remake exclusive for the single reason of making sense than anything else.  japanese games on xb1 are still unproven as the only games that we have is FF type 0 and even though it's not a mainline game, it might give an indication that japanese fans aren't on the console, hence why some might think FF15 and KH3 might be the real indicator.

Type 0 wasn't on any popular radar but sold something like 80% on the PS4. Microsoft in Square's back pocket? Sure, that's why SE announced that they might port DQXI on the future unreleased NX before even mentioning the Xbox One... And strangely, FF7 is closer to DQ than TR in term of audience. Don't you think that the "first on Playstation" could mean PS4 and NX? Or, even easier, PS4 and PC right now, and we'll see about the others later without killing the possibility? And if in 2017-2018 it's useless to release the game on another platform (and it will be IMO), it's fine because nobody mentioned it.

I don't understand what you're talking about when you say that MS has better deals with SE. Hitman has PS exclusive content, FF14 is PS/PC, Dragon Quest is PS/Nintendo, Star Ocean PS, Nier 2 PS4, Saga PS too no? The "better deals" you're talking about is just Tomb Raider money hatted timed exclusivity, and that thing really backfired (oh, Just Cause marketing too?). SE has no reason to give MS deals... But, on the other hand, they said that they want to work with Playstation to help the home consoles market in Japan...

I'm still not saying that FF7R won't be on Xbox One, but it's a possibility because it will surely be useless to do this port and nothing (except another big check from MS) is pushing SE to do it, unlike the TR situation.
