Shovel Knight would be just... I mean, his game came out last year, come on.

Roy's game wasn't even released when Melee came out.

Still on the fence for Shovel Knight being in Smash..

Same. Like Shovel Knight and everything, but he isn't an icon like the other third party characters have been.

I would be (pleasantly) surprised, but i am not buying this rumor yet.
It would say a lot to see Nintendo acknowledge indies like that.

But my bet is in Shovel knight Amiibo that works with Mario Maker. And i can see an amiibo happening.

I must be the only one who does NOT want Shovel Knight in Smash, but I wouldn't be against his inclusion if he made it in.

No, I dont want him in there either, but read your post again.

What about Saki or Isa?

King K Rool?

At least its not another Fire Emblem Character

If Shovel Knight gets in, I will stop playing Smash... Well actually, I'll just be slightly irked.

Shovel Knight in Mario Kart though? That would work.

Ifeel like this would be going against what smash bros represents. Shovel knight hasn't really earnt the right. Assist trophy though?
I still want banjo kazooie. it could happen.... Right....

The problem is, they're already getting to the point where Smash is honestly becoming what I had feared might happen, which is basically "Video Game All-Stars", and not so much a Nintendo-centric game. I don't have a PROBLEM per say with SK being in, he's light years better and more interesting a fighter than Snake was, but still. Even though SK was my personal GOTY 2014, it's just one game, and it's new, so yeah, I don't think that quite merrits inclusion.

But oh well.
