Lazy porting

Lazy porting might be a terrible sin. But there's even something sinier.

You.

Where's your game update?! >_>

Lol, about to start a new game now. Will be trying a kill no-one, set off no alarms playthrough. Not sure how well that works with the Missing Link DLC mission as the last time I played through the DC edition I was killing everyone!

This will be my fifth playthrough, second on the Director's Cut.

I deleted Red Dead Redemption from my HDD without even playing it just for this. I hope you people are worth it.

Westerns are for wussies anyway. Real men play sci-fi.

Kinda makes me crave for a western sci-fi.

we dont talk about western sci-fi.

do i have the game? yeah

pc/directors cut

im playing it already on medium but im not good at it i guess^^

I was already thinking about getting the game, now I could have a special reason to. What is the difference content-wise between the PC and Wii U versions?

WiiU version has the Missing Link DLC already included into the game - plus you get the strategy guide in the gamepad for free. Additionally, you can make notes on the map which can be handy.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Installing the game on my PC... I hope this piece of shit can take this game...

I'm even willing to go "Minimal settings" just for you guys.

Finished the prologue section yesterday.

Saved everybody and let eyepatch go. Went for a completely non-lethal/stealth approach. Of course it was kind of mandatory on give me deus ex difficulty. Every time I was spotted by anyone it was only a few seconds until they shot me dead. Not sure it would be possible with the guns blazing gamestyle I used last time I played Deus Ex.

Really enjoying it so far. The gameplay is really fun, the graphics are very good and the story is interesting too. Also making me more hyped for Mankind Divided

Eh, I left eyepatch run away too! Your style seems similar to mine, except that I prefer punching around people (I don't know why but it's so gratifying to melee enemies) even if that sets off an alarm. I can always retreat, pursue another path while the enemies are looking for me and then keep dispatching them. On a side note, when I got the praxis item, my first investment was the better battery recharge (because level 1 battery recharge is a DISGRACE!). Wonder what I'm going to level up next, but I'm positive that it will either be Icarus Landing or the double-melee hit.

Now here's a question to you!

You picked close-ranged non-lethal weaponry or the tranq sniper?

Tranq sniper of course! Although I haven't actually fired a single shot from it yet

There's a better battery recharge? I have two praxis kits now, was saving them in case I needed them later but that battery recharge upgrade sounds very useful, might have to get that

You can either purchase more batteries or a better battery recharge level. Considering only your first battery is the one that recharges, it's far more useful to get the recharge level, because I think it's much better to use Jensen's powers with five seconds of cooldown than using them everytime you want but spending chocolate bars in the process.

Tried this game on my pc with "minimal settings" (everything off) and it works like shit. The FPS drops to 10 or something like that... it's unbearable. But the whole idea behind the game seems interesting so i might actually drop some money and buy the Wii U version.

I won't be able to play until tomorrow. I need a new transformer for the PS3.

Tsk, tsk. I'm gonna have to start calling out people tomorrow if they keep up like this.

Though I'm glad Xander and SethNintendo are going to give us their update, and Anfebious is thinking about getting the game!

Holy cats, I forgot how bad gun play is in this game. It's pretty much stealth by necessity. Also, I don't know if anyone shares this feeling or if it's just me, but I think every game should let you map the "fire" button to the trigger instead of the shoulder button. I always play that way if I can.

The actor who played Sarif did a really fantastic job of making him smarmy and unlikable. I cringe when he says "Adam".

My intended play-style is "I don't give a damn". I generally go with non-lethal if I can but I don't sweat the details when I have to take a head-shot. Stealth, however, is the first priority. That's because I don't like dying but also because that's how I roll.
