Thanks, fixed it. Just beat your level btw, on my first try I died near the end because the canon crushed me. Took me a lot more tries after that (didn't use the PW machine).

And yeah, not much I can do about the screen being slow or too zoomed in. :p Couldn't even space certain things more out to give you more time to react. Stupid small level sizes!

I wanted to make the puzzle areas a lot wider to avoid crushing injuries yet the 'activation' window for objects is tiny. If objects can go more than a few blocks off-screen they reset, which means you can lose the canon and get stuck. The 3rd area started with 3 thwomps and lots of space, then 3 crammed into the space it is now which became way too hard, so now it's 2.
It gets weirder with the falling platforms. I used them first to drop you + cannon back into the level at checkpoints. Yet at some point they seem to fail depending on distance and elapsed time and the extra cannon enters the level screwing everything up. So now it's p-switch blocks which means you have to wait a bit since the conveyor belts stop too.

I had the most trouble in your level where you are supposed to fall down a bit, can't see below you. Yet it is very fast to retry so not a problem. A zoom out button would help my levels too, much easier when you can see the puzzle area. Maybe they'll add camera controls like in LBP some day.

I tried but I suck at trampolines and the random bowsers fire frighens me. Too much luck involved in that one for my liking.
I completed it in the editor :/



^ Squids, Hammer bros and Bowser all have random patterns, which make them annoying in hard levels. And music blocks are trampolines too... I need a lot more coffee to attempt that level again :) Was fun to try anyway, Bowser or the time limit gets me every time though.



I noticed someone (Yuri) managed to complete the hard version of Companion Bill, turns out he made a great selection of puzzle levels himself.
Puzzling: Back and forth is brilliant, had me stumped for a while DF99-0000-008D-8FCC.

Puzzling: Trapped in time, Also good and the easiest to solve yet requires finding hidden blocks 4B90-0000-0090-438D

@ Svenno: Companion Bill was great. Thought the easy version was more fun because I didn't get frustrated by things wanting to kill me, lol. In any case, impressive puzzle making work

Also, didn't know conveyer belts could be stopped, could turn out handy!

Also yea i agree sven's companion bullet was great and the passwords worked well for me. The hard version seemed annoying to me tho. No powerups(at least the beginning) and the cannon seems to fire randomly sometimes.

Uploaded another Mario Kart themed level. It's called Mario Kart: Bowser is a bad loser.

I think this one is the better of the two, but I'll let you be the judge of that. I also hid an easter egg somewhere, so take a picture if you found it!

Thanks! I use the conveyor belt stop in Free Clownie. It was in this one too at first but I thought it was too difficult. The first puzzle where you have to get the cannon past the 3 blocks used to work by p-switch. You had to retrieve the switch and press it right as the cannon is in the air so it doesn't stop on the belt. Instead it is now meant to be done with the respawning helmet. Hence also no power ups until after that in the hard version as you can simply break away the blocks wiith spin attack. (But you do get the helmet already to survive a hit, makes it unnecesary to go to the upper ledge first but it's the best spot to launch it from anyway)

@Cyber You need a p-switch to stop the conveyer ;) It's no fun to try that peaceful walk again. And yeah that cannon fires on some internal clock or beat if you're not right next to it. So it seems random.
