This may be opening a can of worms but I hope this game has dlc support! I haven't seen a few Super Mario World enemies in this game yet like the purple dragons, Fat Hammer bros that rides on flying block, Lava Monsters, and most importantly, Charging Chuck! They are also missing Super Mario World's forest background, its key and hole short cut, p balloon, yellow and blue koopa troopas, and baby Yoshi!

They are also missing Mario 3's desert level, ice level, night level, and sky level designs. I think we're missing gulping Cheep that leap out to swallow you, and the enemies that pretend to be blocks! And where is the Angry Sun?

It would be great to see a boss pack dlc too! All 8 koopalings and the Rhinos in Super Mario World should be included! Would be great if they included the huge Bowser chase scene for NSMB Wii and Dry Bone Bowser as well!

But of course the best dlc they can offer is a portal gun from Valve's Portal and retain the flinging physics!

I'm worried that I won't be able to complete a lot of the stages people are going to come up with, but still really looking forward to this. Should get hours and hours out of it, even without going into the creation side of it..

If the game sells well then you can bet nintendo is going to release DLC

Great!

I'm actually pretty hyped for this game. It seems packed with content, with tools clever enough to make pretty much anything you want. Like t3mporary_126 said there's still a lot that could be added, but I wouldn't mind getting an expansion set for this game. I think it'll happen.

Can't wait to create some awesome things! I don't even know what style I'm going to use the most, at the very least I'll make a full 4 level world with each of them, and then we'll see after that. So excited .

Nice thread man! Really interested in this one so will keep an eye on it.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

The release schedule of the content is rather stupid and pointless. Really putting off to be honest. But I never was very interested in the game any ways. If I can ever find it cheap, I'll take a plunge. But it's not worth $60.

Yeah locking essential tools in a level creator game is dumb, makes no sense whatsoever.

I can't wait! I like the "Splatoonish" approach of the game. This way you could learn from the basic stuff to most complex mechanics in just 9 days without feeling overwhelmed with a lot of creation tools. It would be stupid in months, but in just 9 days I won't complain. Also, I hope they don't "force" you to create a lot of levels to download some other levels, because I don't want to create, I want to play insane levels.

They look cool, I wanted to post the images but the quality is not that great so go check them ↑

Great thread. Glad to see others are as hyped over this game as I have been since it made its E3 debut last year.

I wasn't all that interested in this game when it was first revealed, but now it's one of my most anticipated games on the console. The SMB3 art style will definitely be the one I use most.

Same thing happened to me. When the game was revealed I thought "that's pretty neat" but didn't pay it much mind. Now after seeing alot more trailers and taking in more information it looks like a must buy. What's weird is that this happened with Super Mario 3D World as well. I guess Nintendo just saves all of the "that's awesome" tidbits till right before the game is released.
