Also don't understand how people can come on here and hate on religions and lump all religions together and not take heat for it. Imagine if I lumped a race of people together with a comment, racial intolerance is no better or worse than the religious intolerance I see on these boards.

No it's very, very different.

Religion is a belief system, a choice, and all of them should be completely open to criticism for the things they preach. You cannot choose your race, you're born with it.

Also than by your logic, politics is a belief system.  So I can generalize all Democrats as baby killers because the party favors abortion?  Of course that wouldn't be acceptable right?  It wouldn't be fair to generalize half the US population or so that way nor would I because not all those that side with the majoritiy of the Democrats beliefs neccessarily are in favor of abortion.

Stuff like this really pisses me off. Why not help your daughter then?! RIP.

Wow... Speechless.

With China's one child only rule he probably regretted having a daughter and hoped she drown,

On a side note tall and strong asian man wtf? preventing two life guards from saving her? surely one could have freed himself and ran away from him and into the water.

Politics is completely open to criticism and ridicule, just as religion should be; neither should be sacrosanct. Thank you for agreeing with me.

Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner.

Well, since you've basically run the table on assumptions here, from Asian = China, to Asian = Short, why not Asian = Kung Fun Master?

How in the world can one man stop 2 lifeguards going into the sea? Was there like a tiny entrance to the sea? Unless he was like 5 meter wide surely the lifeguards could pass him

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Why are people vilifying religion, well besides their own intolerance,, in regards to this article? It's clearly a cultural thing because the article does not mention religion at all. As a Catholic, I do not know of any other Catholics who would refuse medical attention or anything like that from anyone qualified, regardless of their race, sex, sexuality, religion or any other factor. God knows I've had doctors over the years and I never thought twice about who they were on the outside.

The real question is why go to a country and be surrounded by it's people if you wouldn't let them aid you or your family if something were to happen.

Also don't understand how people can come on here and hate on religions and lump all religions together and not take heat for it. Imagine if I lumped a race of people together with a comment, racial intolerance is no better or worse than the religious intolerance I see on these boards.

I don't know about Catholics, but, for example, Jehova's witnesses can't do blood transfusions. I saw one of them die because his fathers were so stubborn to let him die.

How old was the person that died? If he/she was a minor, wanst the country justice system supposed to deny the parents decision and provide the blood transfusion? Also, was a matter of life and death or was the transfusion only to prolong he/she life for a few months? Just curious...

People need to lay off the dad. They are from a different culture. You guys stuck in your bubble, need to realize that cultures differ widely. This type of belief is part of many Asian cultures and although it may not make sense when looking at it from inside your bubble, you need to realize that many of your own cultural customs don't make sense from the bubbles of others either.

Anti-religion fetishists already entered the thread v.v anyway, that's a terrible way to die. Just to make her more "honorable" in his eyes. I hope he's happy with his decision then, because it cost him the life of his daughter
