New data from NPD and GfK Chart-Track show that the cumulative install base of the PlayStation 4 & Xbox One have now exceeded 29 million units across North American and European markets as of June 30th 2015. Please see my tweets below for more specific data. 

Great milestone for both consoles.

Also, VGC has it at 29.86 million so they've done pretty good.

It's also over a month behind, so it might be alright.

Hard to say really. USA on its own accounts for around ~15.7m. Of course when you include the other markets in NA then it's clear that NA is still the biggest market.

We don't exactly have specific numbers for NA and Europe separately.

That extra day in June must of really kicked off sales!!

VGC exceeds 29 million to 27 June. It is so close to 30 million that with the last 3 days of june thrown in it's possibly VGC will be over 30 million in exactly the same timeframe. That would men somewhat of an overtrack, but perhapsn not a large enough overtrack to worry about.

So, they are basically counting only the countries that XOne sells in?!
There are many European countries that are PS4 only, surely that would add a million or two to the total.
Guess here would be about 18:11 or 19:10 split.
