Yes there's a possibility of Nintendo being too low here, but historically the opposite is more likely.

So do I, but I expect it to be down in the holiday quarter. Unless Ninty specifically said they expected it to be up in the 3rd (holiday) quarter?

Because of the new 3DS. As you can see, last quarter, the 3DS was up almost 200%, this quarter it is up 20%, next quarter...5%? Holiday quarter down. the boost will decrease the further we get from new 3DS release. Especcially Japan will be a lot down this holiday, as they got the New 3DS boost last holiday.

3DS is actually up by 1.25m, so, if will ship for example, 900k next quarter, and 4.5m during The holidays, total yearly Sales 3DS will be up YOY.

I said total yearly sales would be up YoY, I just said the holiday quarter would be down YoY...

Makes me wondering if Nintendo completely underestimated the FY15 3dsshipments...But it might believe that New 3ds effect will be curtailed a lot or that 3ds will be a lot down in Japan,something that so far doesn't seem true,lets see...

I think you shouldn't,think of it dear,there will be many deals with New 3ds/xl(especially in the USA),let's not forget that it's not being bought just from late adopters but also for already old 3ds/3dxl owners,and the discounts will be very beneficial,they can persuade more old 3ds/xl owners to upgrade!Keep in mind that they haven't ruled out the possibility of New 3ds release in the Americas,and holidays would be a great time to release it...

Do you think that 3DS won't have massive weeks on holidays in Japan?I think New 3ds/xl will have an effect,okay it will be down yoy weekly but not terribly...
