Forums - Sony Discussion - Disney's shopping list Sony?

https://finance.yahoo.com/video/disneys-shopping-list-214000850.html

Is it possible or do you think the other choices would be a better fit?

discovery would be a perfect fit

I think it is batshit crazy to think Disney will buy Sony
Not only are their businesses hardly comparable at all, but the Japanese government would never allow a takeover of that size.

Discovery would be a better fit, as would Lionhead (Liongate?).

Disney should purchase Nintendo - I think its far better idea due to the IPs Nintendo have.

Can make great animated movies, great tourist attractions in Disneyland/world, etc.

I cant see any benefit from buying Sony specifically for their gaming IPs - dont really match up with Disney's themes.

^ Going by what the guy in the link said - since he specifically mentioned the games (lol he said drop the electronics, ouch).

Edit: Its not gonna happen.

Anyways, Studio Ghibli would be great - Disney distributes their titles so might as well.

I wonder what he thinks they should do with the financial segment (the biggest moneymaker at Sony). Tbh, I really wonder if that guy has any clue at all... And to think he's a "professional"

I really doubt this is going to happen. If anything, Disney may buy a part of sony, such as their movie division, but even then, I highly doubt it.

No, that would be a bad decision. Nintendo would make much more sense.

Gross.

Nintendo is the far better choice, but I doubt it'll ever happen even if Nintendo needed it depending how far the Japanese pride runs deep.
