Forums - PC Discussion - Are you upgrading to Windows 10?

I don't know. My laptop is barely two years old but it's already struggling a little bit, is it safe to upgrade?

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

already done so to latest build, not amazingly impressed with it, but at least they shut metro in the cupboard to forget about, where it belongs.

Despite latest drivers supporting it, nothing i have tried thus far has benefitted (at all) from DX12, either.

It could actually help your system.  If you do a clean install, it almost certainly will.

I'm upgrading my touch screen laptop, but probably will leave Win 7 on my main PC until MS pull support for it, it runs fine, is easy to use and I don't have to fight it taking over all of my 34" screen all the damn time like Win 8 (a behaviour that Win 10 doesn't seem to have gotten rid of).

I probably won't. Still using windows 7 after I bought my new laptop with 8 and hated it, maybe when I buy a new laptop again and it inevitably comes with windows 10 I'm gonna try it.

I just here waiting for Windows 9

Windows 9X is how they refer to windows 95/98 so there has already been a Windows 9

As for the people saying they aren't going to change OS from something that works perfectly for them I commend you guys as saviours! If you have an OS which does literally everything you want every time you sit at the PC and it does it well, what extra can you get from changing to a new system?

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I don't even have the Windows 10 Reservation pop up yet..... Using Windows 8.1 currently. The laptop is completely up to date so I have no idea what the problem is.

Tried that, simply get an infinite loop. At this point you could probably throw any solution at me and it wont work since I've tried it already.

Damn. I'm pretty sure Microsoft will be adding the update option to all Win 7/8/8.1 users after official release. So might just have to wait a few days.
