Lol really? Absolutely nothing? Because that's all you're gonna get in a financial report.

The numbers don't mean anything, not because "that's all you're gonna get". They don't matter becase MS has been overshipping since launch (remember the whole 3.9M sold vs shipped debacle Greenberg was pinning? Or how Day 1 edition XBOnes were available like 8 months after launch? Or how AC bundles are available to this day?). Not until they make a "we've sold X amount to the consumer" announcement so we can gauge the disparity between how much they've shipped and how many people are buying XBOnes, will their shipment numbers matter.

They're overshipping yet stores keep ordering more?

Like I said: 3.9 shipped, Greenberg was trying to pass off as sold, when it was really 3M sold. Day 1 editions were available several months after launch. And AC Bundles are still available. If that's not overshipping, I don't know what is.

All 3 SKU's of the 500GB Xbox One are currently out of stock from Amazon and are only on sale by Marketplace sellers, MCC is expected on 27th July and been out of stock 1 full week. AC bundle seems to of gone out of stock on amazon 2 weeks ago and looks like the standalone 500GB has disapeared also. We can either read into its selling at a good ratio of the shipped numbers or retailers have stocked up on the first shipment of 1TB edition.

Why the downplaying??

X1 probably sold 1.2M which is double from last year.

Whatever way you look at it, it's a great boost.

And as for the overshipping downplaying, the only time that can really affect results is the holiday quarter where retailers will bulk massive amounts in bulk which they might not sell. And if they do overship, there will low shipments the following quarters so it evens out eventually.

Nice graph. Obviously it won't catch those above it, but if it could keep pace with at least the 360 if not the PS3 then that would be pretty good

It will track below PS3/360... maybe do half of them.

Nope, with this holiday season (Tomb Raider, Halo, Gears remake, Forza 6, Rare replay, BC ,bundles and more) the xbox one will continue to outdo the xbox 360 for the rest of the year. Next year it will have Quantum Break, Recore, Gears 4, Forza Horizon 3, Crackdown 3 (more than likely), scalebound.

So VGC is looking to have close to 1 million sell through for the quarter, possibly high 900Ks. Pretty good tracking compared to shipments I think. 4-6 weeks of stock in the supply chain. Pretty low stock leading in to the second half of the year but plenty of time yet to pump up the supply for the holidays.

So surface has increased $1.3 billion. What was surface's last revenue?

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

I think MCC bundles are going to now be Gears or Madden bundles.

You don't seem to understand how supply chains work. MS can't just overship constantly. They sell to retailers and can only ship what these retailers buy from them, they can make incentives etc for retailers to purchase extra but they can't just ship extra. No company can know for certain how many units are sold to consumers, financial reports are legal documents where companies are legally required to be accurate and hence all companies say what they provably know which is how many they sold to retailers.
