i cant believe that people wouldnt even donate 5$. Its SEGA,

competition is good

Competition is good when the competition IS good. This would be another mismanaged disaster along the lines of the Atari Jaguar, but worse, because it would have even less funding than Atari. Why would anyone kickstart a console from the people who allowed Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom and Aliens:  Colonial Marines to happen?

or Virtua Fighter 5, Hatsune Miku, Yakuza, Alien Isolations and many other games

Definitely, I am not going to die till I see a new sega console with my own eyes (?

No because Sega, to this day, can't make their business work outside of Pachinko and Sonic.

Sega doesn't do pachinko though, that's Sammy.

When I was in Japan I didn't see any sega pachinko games, but they have tons of "prize slot" arcades. There's like 3 in akihabara by itself, and that's only like 6 by 6 blocks of street

I wouldn't fund a console through Kickstarter, mainly because $10M is never going to be sufficient and Sega needs to build their game quality back up to what it was back in the day.
Any proper console requires multiple hundreds if millions of dollars in R&D, not to forget online infrastructure and the lack of sales on other systems.

I think they should focus on their games, take the Ninja Theory approach like with Hellblade, invest a few million per title on a bunch of smaller games, that only require a few hundred thousand in sales each to turn a profit, but go on to sell 1M+ units.
They'll hit on a few games that will sell a lot more than that, then they can invest back into their gaming business and in time they could be in a position to create a new system, but Kickstarter isn't the right place for that.

Nope. they have to do it by themselves. if they haven't enough money they have to stay third party

There are just too many bad decisions they made. And recent games show that they still struggle with decisions. Them being in charge of another console would most likely end in disaster. As much as I love my Saturn, there were too many mistakes. A new console where costs are into the billions? Sega couldn't do it.

Lol, no chance. Sega's production has gone way downhill since the golden days, and even then they were still objectively a step below Nintendo. The only thing they had going for them at any point after the Genesis was niche appeal or the "mature" factor in the Genesis's case. And niche appeal is exactly what Kickstarter is based around and has evolved in general with the popularity of indies and the digital age, so Sega has nothing except a bunch of old IP they actively DON'T want to use. Well, and Atlus, but it's not like they're doing a great job with Atlus either. And again, Atlus is niche, so it fills a hole they already have overflowing.

So yeah, no chance.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Only if i see Langrisser, shining force, valkyria chronicle as launch game !

No, i wouldn't support a new Sega console.
