Lol, I'm not around enough to be a mod, but I did enjoy following that thread.  Always a good source of drama, and I liked helping other members when I had the opportunity.... But oh well...

I'm kinda disappointed the mod thread is gone. As there's zero chance I'll bother sending an email out, but I am glad that Trucks has more help on the way.

Uh, do we really have to end the mod thread? Sending an email is so tedious. And I wouldn't know if you replied before it had been like 2 weeks, cause I barely check my email. :-/

I just want to echo Smeags by saying that we have a tremendous group of members ready and willing to help make VGChartz the best it can possibly be. That includes the admins, the writing team, the mod team, and all of the amazing individuals who make this place the best damn video game site around :)

I hope everyone will take advantage of the new Gmail account for questions, concerns, and comments. And of course the mod team is available for questions through PM also. I know the Gmail account represents an extra hoop to jump through, but I believe it will allow for better communication between the mod team and the community, and it will prevent many of the issues that troubled the mod thread.

oo, sounds interesting, but I swear we had a similar thread a few months back promising change as well.. ( If i'm wrong, I stand corrected :P )
