Stillll excited and holding out hope but same reservation: they've yet to show any compelling gameplay. This game could get old quick if the only things it has going for it are farming and scale.

This IGN month of NMS will drive me crazy with all the cool footaage and announcements....They need to announce August 1st release date, I cannot wait anymore.

As far as economy goes, I'll be the one all traders take advantage of. I'm the exploring type, so I'll be the one searching and mining all planets, selling stuff on the cheap only to buy it back later at triple the cost.....as long as I get to name all the goats, I don't mind.

There's so much stuff, surely must be nearly done if they are able to talk about and show all this stuff.

Yeah they are showing a lot so I would think this year??? the only thing that might stop it would be testing, but doesnt that defeat the purpose of exploration first... unless they reset the worlds.

I'm sending a Minecraft-esque feel to this game somehow. Not that the game is trying to mimic Minecraft's gameplay, but the actual worlds, movement, focus on exploration/harvesting etc. Has there been word on a physical release?
