Oh snap! I didnt even know this existed! That is pretty awesome. Combining two great games into one! I like it!

It really is! If you're interested here's the link: http://download.cnet.com/Mari0/3000-7433_4-75714261.html

It contains the first Super Mario Bros. game and allows you to edit it as well. This comes in handy since it gives you a model in how to use the tricky editor tools like the warp pipes.

And if you like the level I posted, you can check the youtube page to find the link to download it. You may need a guide to figure out where to place the file though but it isn't too complicated.

I've been interested in it since it debuted at E3 last year. Very excited for it now.

nope.

It seems like you just read the title and didn't read the OP at all.  If you did, you would realize that your post looks like you're only doing it for one of two reasons.  Either 1) +1 post count or 2) try to start something with someone

I'm interested in seeing other people's stages, but not in making or playing them.

So in the past i heard alot people saying they are interested in mario maker.

I cant really understand that.

There are dozens of free mario level editors already available for pc.

Just check this: (Possibly illegal link removed)

A flash based mario game including a complete editor. I just need 5-10 minutes to get used to the editor and got a pretty good level.

In my Opinion its ridicoulus that nintendo will selling such a title probl at full price (40-60$). Even a flash game can do it (probl made my one person as a hobby).

I am with you, this game makes no sense for me, zero hype here, skipping it altogether. My money will go to other games in that month, the more I hear people are planing to buy it, the more I am starting yo hate the game actually.

That sums everything up pretty well, I think.

Yes, I'm interested in Mario Maker. It interests me more than any straightforward 2D platformer made in the past decade.

No I'm not interested but not because you can do it illegally anyway. And I don't think Nintendo releases games based on whether you can play one similar illegally.

I find the concept behind Mario Maker interesting mainly because there are many fan made Mario games that use the same assets from the original 2D games. I'm sure there are good ones out there in the ether. However, I'm not interested in searching for these either surprisingly good or atrociously bad fan made games, and an official Mario game could appeal to that same community where the good levels are promoted by a rating system, and the excellent levels could be curated by Nintendo.

That sounds great in theory. That's why I decided to get Mario Maker after it stays in the market for at least a year.

.- -... -.-. -..

I'll be getting it Day 1.

I'll honestly be surprised if it doesn't sell at least as well as "Splatoon", if marketed properly, and will probably provide a nice boost the the Wii U's weekly hardware numbers.

I was excited for Mario maker, but now I'm exceedingly excited for all they've added in super Mario maker. I really, really want this game.

If you see no difference between this game and that flash you're either hating or haven't watched the latest gameplay.
