Its nice to get some numbers but there were no big game releases in those weeks, so the sales aren't surprising. Hopefully we don't have to wait another month for new numbers.

I appreciate the numbers and the effort but once were finally caught up I'll really show my appreciation, were coming up on 2 months behind still, this update is to keep from absolute anarchy in VG Chartz. I find it odd that a month worth of numbers are updated at a time, does he have the information and just not adding it?
Being unappreciated and constantly complaining that the numbers "are BS" "wrong" "doesn't make any sense" "we should wait for "NPD" is probably the reason why ioi doesn't update the numbers anymore. And in this very thread people are still mentioning the numbers are wrong. I understand wanting more correct data and discussing where it needs correcting. But to make fun of it and get angry about is not cool. This is the only place that gives (gave) weekly worldwide data and everyone questions when something is off. Nothing is perfect, you think it's easy trying to get data for hardware and software? Be happy we have any at all.
I don't expect the site to keep up to date anymore since people seem to not like the numbers we did get. Why do you want numbers so bad now? You think it's all BS anyway remember?

exactly. i showed appreciation when it was updated to May 16, EVEN THOUGH the software sales were neglected. but yeah, i fell for their stupid promise too.

If that's the reason he doesn't update the numbers, then he needs to get a thicker skin. Every major website gets shit, I see people abuse IGN on a regular basis, do they shut up shop and cry in a corner?
It's the internet, you can do everything right and there will still be people that moan. It's how it's been since forever and it's not going to change.
But I doubt that's the reason. More like the site doesn't rely on numbers as much as it used to. Brett does all the numbers by himself and he's lost motivation as the site will still get hits without updating numbers. Sometimes lack of appreciation can make you less motivated but if you're going to get upset by people saying nasty things, the internet isn't for you.
