Well, fair enough but you clearly realised your mistake and changed it meaning you also realised you were in the wrong. I think if you read the flow of the conversation you would perfectly understand why I started my sentence with 'Wow'. The fact that even after you've aknowledged your mistake you feel as if you have to reply in kind shows a lack of humility. If that was me I'd simply have said 'yeah, sorry fella, I misread' and the reason I'd do that is because it was my fault so therefor it's also up to me to 'understand' why the poster used the word 'wow' in that context. The onus would be on me to put things right. It wouldn't cross my mind to put things right by adding insult to injury in the process.

Back in the early VGC days I would have agreed with you. We had plenty of comparison threads especially early last gen from all camps.

Today, I can't agree. Xbox fans mainly meet in their Xbox Republic thread (or what it's called) and when avid Nintendo fans like Tbone are happy with the sales of Nintendo franchises, they just post and discuss the numbers without comparing them to sales of a "rival" franchise.

First they would need to support the console it's on by buying it.

Gears crushes Uncharted

Gears crushes God of War

Halo crushes Killzone

Halo crushes Gran Turismo

Halo crushes everything from Sony (hur dur GT is just bundled)

Sony exclusives don't sell compared to MS exclusives

The Forza series beat the GT series in 2012 (that's Forza 3, 4 and Horizon vs GT5, yes someone made that comparison)

All of the above are comparisons I've seen being made on this very site, so lets please not act as if it's only Sony fans, the only reason the other camps aren't doing it much at the moment is because they don't have many instances where they could win an argument like that.

I am amazed at how you are able to know every single person that buys a Gran Turismo game and a PlayStation console and how you can tell that those sells didn't come from people enjoying the games and consoles they prefer.

If whoever started this thread did it just to spread negativity, I'd say he did a pretty good job. Insert obligatory x crushes y comment here.

Forza still has a better community. Plus its spinoff crushed GT's spinoff in sales. Tourist Trophy didn't even sell enough to warrant a sequel.

I don't understand what the point of this thread is.

Is it that you want to try and brag about some series selling better than the other? Do you prefer Gran Turismo over Forza and wanted to make a thread about it to rub it in?  I don't understand what the discussion is here. 

I could make a thread that said "Water crushes soda" because more people buy water than soda. (I don't know if that's an actual fact. I'm just making an example). It would be the exact same thing as this thread.
