Forums - Sales Discussion - Install base of PS4 & XB1 exceeds 3.7 million in the UK (ZhugeEX@GAF)

For these that still like sales in a dead sales website.

Thanks to ZhugeEX on GAF.

That put Xbone at less than 1.7m and the gap at ~500k in UK.

2.1 PS4 & 1.6 Xbox1 ?

*considering how long its been since VGChartz updated sales data, is it possible the UK numbers were overtracked for both consoles there?

I like PS4 numbers.

I would compare these to VGChartz numbers, however VGChartz numbers do not exist right now.

Sad times. UK market looks strong for PS4 and One.

Mostly like... PS4 was crossed 2m in early May.

should be the most obvious split, when ps4 reached 2million+ in early may

exceeded 3.7million should be <3.8

ps 4 ~  2.1 - 2.15
xb1 ~ 1.6 - 1.65m

+/- a couple k units

I don't think Xbone will reach 2m before holidays.

That is a really big period this time compared with the 1 month difference announces for 1m.

This is a bit difficult but if we do the work we can figure out the limit of possible Xbox One sales.
At the end of April Sony announced 2 million. I would beg the Xbox One at 1.6 million.

Yeap and that means my estimates ~1.5m or even lower than that at March were right.
While some guys are saying ~1.6m in that period when they announced 3.3m.

Yes, XOne slowed down considerably. Both consoles are priced very competitively in the UK, and XOne cannot keep up in that situation.
