A 96-97 though, I sure think could happen.

I tend to like Gamerankings more when it comes to ranking. A little more accurate than Metacritic.

No chance of ever beating OoT's metacritic score, it's damn near impossible to do that for any game nowadays no matter how good it is as previous people have mentioned.

If they do the open world in a good way though with fun challenges and side quests along with an engaging story (I know they're never the most complex but I always find myself loving the stories) it will do quite well.

I'll take a stab now and have an optimistic view saying it will get a 97.

It's not gonna happen because GameSpot is going to give it a 6 or so for a dumb reason like they did with Tropical Freeze or the 4(I think) they gave to Code Name S.T.E.A.M.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, okay? There is always something that keeps a game from being perfect. You thought this Zelda had everything and POOF! Nintendo has made some odd decision that keeps the game from getting perfect scores.

Well, they gave B2 a 10, New Super Mario Bros. U a 8,5, Smash Bros. and 3DWorld a 9... But yeah, Tropical Freeze 6, Kirby 5, Yoshi 6, ZombiU a 4,5 is way too much XDDD

I doubt it. There are too many click bait hungry sites looking to cash in on a bad review. Besides even if that didn't happen, I doubt that a game could beat the 99 that OoT got.

We don't even know much about Zelda U. Can all the naysayers at leas acknowledge that. Just because Nintendo doesn't want to spill all the beans so quick, doesn't mean what's actually developed isn't amazing. I think Zelda U will be nothing short of a masterpiece. Aonuma seems very into this game.

Yeah, you're right, my range is too narrow, it could reach 97, but only if the game is perfect. 99 is impossible only because of that click-bait reviews, that practice didn't exist back in the OoT days.
