Fusion between handheld and home console.

Nintendo not being interested in high end tech does not mean they will downgrade to lesser hardware besides that's not at all what Miyamoto meant

NX will be a platform that contains an mobile, portable and home console variants. Only the mobile portion will not contain the same library as the other two 'consoles'.

NX will remain lower overall power but should be in the realm of PS4/XB1 and at a lower hardware costs. Likely ~$200 for portable and ~$300 for home.

NX will build off of WiiU/3DS OS as that is becoming the NintendOS going forward to ensure parity between current and future hardware.

Same eShop, NNID, apps, VC, etc.

Compatible with WiiU Gamepad, Pro Controller, and Wiimotes (all flavors).
Plays WiiU games (you may need gamepad separately).
Comes with Pro Controller of sorts.

I'm just going to have to bump the official nx thread every single day until people get that one thread is enough.

I may have over-exaggerated, but pretty much I just don't expect the NX to be as powerful as PS4/XB1.  Would be nice though.

Personally all that matters to me is that I hope the NX is the fusion idea.  I've had so much fun with my PSP Go and even it wasn't top graphics the whole handheld/home console feature was very nice.

I'm hoping for it to be a home console that will try to innovate with its OS and software, rather than Nintendo trying and failing to innovate and create a smash hit like the Wii/DS
