$16, which means £12 no doubt... but £12 for a game I already have just for what? Trophies? I can buy the PS1 version on PS3 now for £8. Heck, Steam version is £5.

I can say to you that master all materias can be made in 30 minutes with Triple AP weapons at the last dungeon (3-4k AP per battle).

The gil one I don't remember how much time because all my PS1 saves have the max gil after some point in the game.

I'm in the camp of ever so patiently just waiting for the remake. Trophies aren't enough to get me to buy the game again when SE has already made it irrelevant by announcing the remake, even if we won't see it until late 2016 or early 2017.
