Damn, that's very cool!

Do you have Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance?

If so, I absolutely envy you.

Nice Collection! =)

Gamecube games are really starting to go up a lot in price. They are still far from the NES and SNES era in prices.

I do have a GC collection worthy of a few thousand dollars, I dont know how the market of GC is in the US but in Sweden I think the most expensive game is Four Swords which is probably around 100$ at this point. For the big pack in nice condition you are looking at 200-250$.

I was not into Japanese centric games(Basically Square and Enix) in the SNES era so many of the most valueable ones I dont have, but I still have DKC 1-3, Super Mario World, Mario Kart, NBA Jam, and a handfull of other. I wish I still had F-zero and pilotwings, no idea where they went.

Hmmmm the joys of having been a nerd as a kid, I still have my Secret of Mana lovely boxed copy with the cool map, Illusions of Time and Secret of Evermore all nicely boxed together. As for the OP I loved the GC era, have close to 180 games for it think the rarer ones being EU MGS Twin snakes and a Sealed copy of Zelda Collectors edition disk ( the majoras mask/Ocarina of time gc disk) I just have both those games on the N64 (boxed still ofc) so I never bothered to unwrap it when I found a GC copy.

OMG. So jelly. I play SOM in the early 2000s (emulation) and it blew me away. Back in like 03 the graphics were still gorgeous. Secret of Mana 2 remains to this day my favorite Square game. Yes. Over all their other classics.

Did you ever play Evermore or Illusions of Time (eu)/ Gaia (us)? Both have absolutely amazing campaigns and Illusions was one of the first games I seen a character getting killed.... and another commiting suicide before you based on something you done. Was pretty fkin dark at times.

Evermore is one of the best games of the SNES in my opinion. The late release made it a pretty unknown game, imo a superior solo experience than Secret of Mana 1 and 2.

"Well as 'Dusty' Duffy McGander says in 'Perilous Patrol over Pluto': 'We may not have a rat's chance in a room full of cats... but we're gonna go after that cheese.'" -Hero

Some of that games lines were fantastic :D Really loved the system for creating spells too, no simple MP bar, had to go off and make sure you kept a good stock of ingrediants and be aware that using 1 acid rain could cost you 3 healing spells... damn water hungry bastard, but really a great resource management system from a game.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Haha, I got some of that stuff too :D Maybe I got a bit of treasure too.

Aw, nice.

PoR is a game I really want, but its high value prevents me from getting it anytime soon. That and there are other valuable games that I want more, like Mega Man X2 for the SNES.

that is really great. game collection on not so good console is really priced good. even with Wii games with limited copies, it is already showing how much the game value is.

not sure moving forward if eShop would keep digital games and how long. Gamers wanted to play, the box art is nice to have, but if the price is a little bit favorable to the gamer. then surely digital version would sell than the disc version so the price won't be that high for Wii U onwards, me thinks.

The moral of this story.

Don't fucking buy digital.

Wow. I still have all those games in a box at my house. Might debate selling them. I wonder if there is a better outlet than eBay as few times I sold on there they take a significant cut of the sale.

Keep them for another 10 years, and they will be worth even more.

What's happened is that a lot of kids who grew up with Gamecubes are now old enough to have disposable income. So the price of Nintendo games have skyrocketed. For instance, cartridge alone, Megaman X2 and X3 are going for 300 dollars. It's also caused a lot of inflation too. For instance, Megaman X Collection for Gamecube is 80 dollars. You can buy that brand new for 25 dollars on PS2. It's cheaper to find a PS2 at a flea market and buy that game new than it is to buy the Gamecube version. So the prices of titles skyrocketed. For another comparison; Genesis games haven't gone up in price. Though some PSX titles have risen to ridiculous levels too. Though Final Fantasy 7, a few months ago to a year(If not more), went down in price. It's going for 50, black label vs the 100/150 it used to go for. So we'll see how long this bubble lasts. Can be forever, can not. Though with all this inflation going on, I'm not sure why Nintendo isn't pushing the Virtual Console like they used to.
