SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida is one of the main proponents of new experiences like Virtual Reality, and today he got to try something a bit different at E3: Microsoft’s holographic experience, HoloLens.

I'm gonna try this special Halo HoloLens experience!!! @XboxP3 @aarongreenberg pic.twitter.com/qPLWY0SFTM

Yoshida-san definitely looks cool with the visor:

Do I look cool in HoloLens? @XboxP3 @aarongreenberg pic.twitter.com/gEomVmzkWU

He also chatted with Microsoft’s First and Third Party Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg, who was quite pleased by the meeting:

An honor to meet & host @yosp at our @E3 booth today, fun talking about games w/ him. A true class act! pic.twitter.com/VSKweeS5G8

Yoshida-san was pleased too, and he called Halo 5: Guardians‘s HoloLens experience “super cool.”

@aarongreenberg @E3 Thanks Aaron for letting me experience the super cool Halo HoloLens Experience. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

This is just another example that many among the most ferocious “console warriors” should probably follow. Bring rivals in the competition for the console market doesn’t mean that people can’t have a fun chat together and enjoy each other’s products.

Fun fact. YOSP blocked me at twitter. So I had to manage twitter links with other means.

its always awesome to see stuff like this

Wow, good for him. That's really brave and fair if he felt it was that way.

Yoshida is my favorite "bussines man" in this industry, dude is great gamer (he even platinumed Bloodborne and he loves the soul series) and is always really friendly with everyone, he admits without a problem that he bought 2 wii u consoles for his kids and has no problem saying that the competition has cool stuff, plus the guy is always smiling and seems to have a great charisma.

I really like the class and respect that Yoshida and Spencer are displaying for their respective competitors this gen.

I hope this continues for a long time.

Yoshida-dono never fails to amaze me. Seriously, if only we could get Phil to admit he's going to play FFVII R.

I wish we had more higher ups like him.
On Hololens: I really hope MS won´t pursue hololens as a primarily gaming device. Imo it´s main focus and probably biggest market is mobile. This Technology could be the next smartphone...
