I think Microsoft definitely did better. They showed huge technology advances (HoloLens), backwards compatibility (the number one requested console feature), plenty of brand new games...they had everything. Literally. Hit every mark, Sony did not.

Agree they had little in exclusives, but it appears to me they all Marketing for just about every major game (save Fallout 4) this fall, that's a big deal. The fact the Xbox reign on getting CoD content 1st finally ended is a big deal too.

But stepping away from the console war perspective it was a great showing. Yes most of the key games they show are multiplat, which in reality means everyone should have enjoyed their conference.

Would you mind telling me which title it is that you consider to be vaporware?

Overall that was one of the best communication I have ever seen. They hyped me like never before (okay, maybe 2013). I really did enjoy this, just pointing out how great these communication skills are. I mean other conferences showed a lot more new stuff in comparison, but none made me want to buy stuff as much as Sony's.
