Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do different consoles FEEL different to you, even if it's the same game?

Playing a game on the WiiU instead of the PS4 for instance, just envelops me with a different sort of feeling, even if it's the same game. I play differently and have a different take on the whole experience. Without my going into detail, does anyone feel the same?

Yeah, I know what you mean.

A lot of multi-plats I played on 360, mainly Call of Duty, felt radically different when I played on PC.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Yeah a bit.

Huge difference. I played a lot of games on PS3 and X360 last gen, and it was very noticeable. Not only due to the controller or the OS, there is just a unique feel to everything depending on the console. I have always preferred the way PlayStation feels even if I could get the same game on other systems. I have friends that have the same feeling about Xbox. It is just weird, and I grew up in a household where we had every console, every generation.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Totally. The controller, the OS, just the general feel of it...feels different. It's weird.

Yeaa! Like playing skyrim on PC will have nudes and waifu's everywhere but playing skyrim on the consoles won't

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Mostly when it comes from consoles to PC and especially due for the performance differences.
When it comes to FPS games, there is a distinguished difference due for the lack of Auto-aim on PC (It's actually better without AU in my opinion) If i play to much on consoles i have to adept to PC again a lot more then i would if i jumped over to another console from console.
The controller on Consoles might be the only difference even though that got more to do with what you have been used to. The difference between the Ps3 and the 360 isn't as big as it used to be since the day i ended up having both and frequently played on both cause i got used to both without having to much break in-between changing.

It's all muscle memory to me, even with Wii. I haven't played WiiU, but i'd imagine i'd notice a big difference, based on the size.

I don't think so. Other than slight graphics differences sometimes, all games look almost the same to me.

Same here . That's why when I replay a game, I replay it on a different platform, 'cause it's usually a very different experience.
