Forums - Gaming Discussion - Zombie U currently in development for Xbox One and PS4!

Don't know why people are focusing on the gamepad lack of gamepad; knowing Ubisoft, I'm sure they are going to try to use this with the new VR technologies that MS and Sony are coming out with. Talk about immersion.

Game was Pro Controller compatible, so not exactly difficult to port without the game pad.

Probably wouldn't get it myself though, got the Wii U ver at launch with my console. I suspect sales would probably exceed the Wii U's though.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

The probability is there, although dont see a lot improvement in this port, must likely 1080p and 900p support, and sicne the other consoles dont have a gamepad the major interesting and funny part of the game will be discarded

If it does come to other platforms it won't be anywhere near as good. The best thing about the game was the stress and tension that builds up due to the GamePad use. It's impossible to replicate that on the PS4 or Xbox One unless both Sony and Microsoft clone the GamePad...I guess you could have SmartGlass for the One SKU but that's going to have problems due to lag.

I'll be laughing when it ends up selling less than the Wii U version.

Why? It was a massively bundled launch game for WiiU and tried to sell peole on the gamepad. Now almost three years after its original release it might come to PS4/XBone. You know how many games these consoles have? It should be expected to sell less than the WiiU version and come as a big surprise if it sells more.

EDIT: Hm I drank a couple beer and after i reread it, it seems like my question is kinda "aggressive"? I didn´t mean it that way, but still why would you laugh at it?

It's alright, i just find it funny that Sony or MS would want a port from this game when it's obviously going to bomb.

I'm positive Sony or MS had anything to do with this. (Just like any other 3rd party remasters)

It's more like Ubisoft wants to attempt to make a few quick extra bucks by porting it to PS4/XB1 ....(Just like any other 3rd party remasters)

Sony has a full GamePad functioning on PS4 already with Vita. However the audience with a PS4 AND Vita will be even smaller than the Wii U userbase so I don't see them bothering to implement such a set up.

I do agree though the game pad was so nicely used on the game. It's a shame Wii U owners didn't bother buying the game in decent numbers :( I'd have been well down for a more refined sequel.

The game's gonna suck without the Gamepad.

Agreed. Hope they implement Vita and smart glass. Game just wouldn't be the same without the extra screen.

Yea! I bought the game for $20 on Amazon. Would buy part two day 1.

But what made the game entertaining was the ways that the Gamepad was used. Without that, this isn't that good of a game at all.

It would be like porting Red Steel to the PS3.

considering PS3 has Move it would probably make the game much better

Pretty sure that was only for player 2 in the multiplayer mode, and that the campaign was only playable with the Gamepad.
