One of my goals is to do more lifting.
I used to do it like 3 days a week but now 1 day is more like what I get. Not that I don't exercise, I do running 4-5 days a week, and I like running more than lifting. But I often get light-headed after doing strength training for 30-45 minutes, which is probably reflective of the fact that I've gotten out of the routing of lifting.

This is probably redundant advice, but listen to your body. Start lighter and easier to get back into the swing of things. No shame in using bodyweight or lighter weights. Every lifter should do that anyway to perfect their for before trying for heavier weight.

Welcome aboard and good luck!

So weird question. Why am I smelling some ammonia, cat pee like smell after I work up a sweat (on my bike)?

Am I dying?

Eh o.O let me get back to you on that one...

I doubt you're dying though. Maybe your clothes just stink really bad?

Think I found something. It could be lack of water.

Chalk being outlawed in my gym has pissed me off for a while, but then a nice man gave me his liquid grip, and all of my pull exercises are going off the charts!
Deadlift, bent over row, shrugs, pull ups, hanging leg raise etc have all improved so much since I started using it.
For example, I could get my deadlift up because the bar kept slipping. Tried liquid grip and went 70 lbs higher.
Too bad it's $30 for such a small bottle. Maybe I'll start mixing chalk and alcohol at home lol

How come I never knew about this thread before ;(!

Dayum sons.

Well anyways - my goal is to lose weight.

My overall goal is I guess 200 lbs.

I was originally 275 pounds but lost about 35 pounds or so in the last 2-3 months.

Changed my diet a bit more recently (like last week) - starting to drink milk again, lowered carbs, and eliminated meat from my diet. Eating veggies (salad consisting of green lettuce, red cabbage, red lettuce, carrots, etc) sometimes with side dishes like red beans and sliced cooked red cabbage.

Fruit wise - I'm eating bananas, apples, grapes, mangoes and occassionally JackFruit.

Drinking wise - I've stopped drinking sodas/beverages years ago and only drank Water. Started drinking Milk again - whole milk though since I eliminated meat - need to get some protein. Dont drink Tea or Coffee - its been 10+ years since I last did XD.

Currently not eating meat due to Lent season (religious reasons) but might stay on it even after its over or limit consumption to meat every other day or weekends only.

I stopped eating red meat and have only eaten White meat (mainly chicken) - never fried though.

It is amazing what elminating soda (or pop; hehe Skype reference) will due to your health! Good to hear you are making progress, and best of luck in reaching your goal. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to stop by here!

Why yes! Romanian deadlifts, leg press and squats are pretty much the extent of my training in that region though

So around 80-85 to lose this year, challenge accepted.
