The griffin school gear lasted a bit longer yet I also found better armor laying around. (I do often sneak, grab and run, looting stuff from high lvl guarded treasure) I only craft alchemy recipes now. I have patterns for better armor yet can't wear them until lvl 14. I'll probably find better stuff before then. My main 'problem' right now is that all the merchants are poor. I can't offload as much loot as I would like and I have over 7000 crowns with nothing to spend it on. |
True, but id rather use my resources as I haven't found the bag upgrade yet to hold more weight like in part two. If I have a lot of supplies on me its much better for me to part with it to save myself the extra pounds. I sell whatever swords I take to make even more than I should. Sometimes after taking out a whole gang i'll return to even the poorest town and profit 200 crowns off of them at 15 crowns per weapon. I feel bad for the businesses, because I actually see how much money they have and as I keep selling they keep losing (LOL).

I have 90 weight allowence atm (30 from saddle bags, funny since I never use the horse)
I've been selling all crafting materials except monster components and rare flowers since you can buy them anyway. And I sell any monster parts and magic dusts I have more than 6 of. I kept running over the weight limit and could only pick up 2 or 3 swords at a time with all the crafting crap. I don't bother anymore with the dismantle option, just sell all that stuff. I also started getting rid of all the documents, books and contracts since my inventory is still slow. I wish there were sorting options and more categories instead of a long list of oils, concoctions, potions and bombs all thrown together.
I've been cleaning out every merchant I have found, buy all the gwent cards just so I can sell more. I haven't even once played gwent. Some pieces of armor I snatched from a lvl 33 quest are hard to sell though at 650 crowns profit, same with some of the high level ores and dust.
There is just so much stuff in the game and I can't resist hitting every ? on the way to the next quest location.
A kleptomaniac's dream or a completionist's worst nightmare?
Just one of the many high level monsters I robbed blind under their nose
I'll have to come back for you later.
