Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony getting smaller announcement out of the way for E3? A good sign?

I just realised that in the last couple weeks Sony made several announcements that could have been put into E3.

There was negative stuff (the R&C delay), stuff that probably won't be ready to show at E3 and was announced because a lot of people are expecting it for E3 (BB DLC) but most importantly they made several announcements that they could have put into E3, for better or for worse, the M. Bison trailer, GoW 3 gameplay/trailer/pre order bonus and now the Until Dawn release date could have all been put into E3, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Tearaway Unfolded release date before E3 as well.

It looks like Sony is doing what MS last year announced they'd have to do and are making smaller announcements that wouldn't get too much interest (and the M. Bison trailer, which might have been to make the E3 character/s a complete surprise) out of the way early.

What is your opinion? Is that a good sign? Do they have more interesting stuff to show at E3? Could third party announcement replace these announcements? Or Morpheus? Or will those games (talking about Until Dawn and GoW3, SFV will definitely be at E3) be shown again at the conference?

They are clearing the PS4 games out of the way to focus exclusively on Vita.

What is your opinion? Is that a good sign? Yes.

It suggests they have more & bigger stuff in waiting.

or there doing the same thing ms did last year when they announced stuff before e3

More room for their new show "the player"

He literally said exactly that in the OP. Okay not exactly, but you get the point.

I've been waiting for greatness since the PS4 launched, so hopefully that's the case.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Likely all these little announcements is to help create anticipation and hype for Sony's E3 which they'll probably do a quick summary of what was just announced recently.

As well, do we know if Sony's press conference is 1hr or 1.5hrs long? If it's an hour than they probably don't have enough time to squeeze all of these announcements in.
