So are Wii U owners gonna get a refund considering they funded the game for PS4/XB1 lol

It was not a Kickastarter but another way of crowfunding, there is no way to know how much of those people were wiiu owners, but the fact is Nintendo fans were the comunity that support them the most, tired with PC. And on its web they had a chartz showing the ratio of interest in every console, and WiiU has been the first all the time. So it has to be tons of WiiU owners that funded the project along with other (mostly PC), and now they have nothing :D

I kinda  see lawsuits coming about from this

2. Aren't you cluttering up the forum and this thread with these off-topic posts?

Lets keep things on topic guys. Discuss the OP not each other.

I wonder if the game didn't sell as anticipated on the other platforms and they don't feel like they can make any sort of profit on Wii U either so they're just giving up.

Or they just don't give a shit either way. Whichever one.

It's been riding high in the charts. Consecutive No1s in the UK and I believe the PC version has done well too.

I think it's more, they don't feel at this stage there is any point devoting lots of additional manpower to a Wii U version that'd likely sell tens of thousands.

For all the people saying Lawsuit. Nobody paid ANY money towards a Wii U version of the game. Anybody investing money in this was investing to GET MONEY BACK.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

You forgot to add

Nope i didnt forget about him. I didnt see Hynad continuing down that discussion so i left him out. The back and fourth was mostly between you and Arctutus, i felt like that was enough to get the discussion back on track. That is the last I will post on that. Please get back to the topic at hand.

I´m on the forum where the head of the team is talking, and he said that the game is"already profitable", also he said VGChartz is a joke where people just take the data out of their asses, that with better words, but I guess that is another story.

Could you share a link to these comments?

This is probably closer to the real reason. The cost of the extra effort required to get the game to an acceptable level of quality outweighs the profit they could make from the Wii U version.

Thanks.

Haha, that's quite the discrepancy. The head of the studio is saying Shift 2 sold "multiple millions of copies" while VGChartz shows just 180k in sales.

Not now, VGC has more than a milion sold, and that without counting digital and PC.

Awful. They lied to us, and, what's worse, they lied to the people who gave their money to see the game running on their WiiU. And they told us all the time that it was running on the WiiU well. What? They deserve tons of criticisms for this. And a lawsuit. I don't know it that's legal but it's morally questionable.
