This is a prime example of what afflicts so many people on the internet in general, and specifically here on VGC. I don't see it happening. Bill Trinen has been at Nintendo far longer than Reggie has. IF he wanted the Presidency, he could have gotten it by now. If Reggie is getting promoted, someone else will replace him. Hopefully he doesn't leave because there aren't many people in the industry who can replace him.

I agree, I think it will happen eventually, but I don't think Reggie is on his way out or anything. He could easily be there for another ten years.

Bill was originally just a translator, and through his experience with the company he has become a marketing executive. I think he is working his way up to that position. If and when Reggie does leave the company, Bill is the obvious choice for his replacement.
