PS4 Version

''Closing Comments:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is equal parts daunting, accessible, beautiful and hideous, but every aspect combines in such a remarkable way that it’s nearly impossible to not give it a sweeping recommendation. Geralt’s story and his interactions with the world provide both an immediately gripping experience for newcomes and enjoyable fanservice to those who have stuck around since the beginning. 2015’s largest game to date is its best so far, as the marriage of seemingly endless open-world content and engaging storytelling make The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a superlative experience. From rounds of the in-game card game Gwent to its robust crafting and alchemy systems, those who are looking for the all of the minutia that comes from a deep western role-playing experience will find it here in droves.''

''The new benchmark for open-world Western RPGs on PS4. CD Projekt Red, we love the voodoo that you do in the Witcher 3.''

Genies, threesomes, spoony bards, and sex atop a stuffed unicorn – what’s not to love about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? Playing the game to completion and seeing Geralt’s story through to the end has left me somewhat dazed, and writing this review feels more daunting than anything. So let’s just get right into it.

''Over the past week, whenever I wasn’t playing Wild Hunt, I was either thinking about playing it, reading up on the game and brushing up on my Witcher lore, or just writing about it. I haven’t felt so invested in an RPG since… well, okay, since Bloodborne. But my point still stands. CD Projekt Red has outdone themselves once again with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is a shining example of what RPGs should be: an experience that makes you believe that you’re truly part of a game’s world and that you have a very real stake in it. That’s exactly what Wild Hunt has achieved here.''

Latest Review, from We Got This Covered, 5/5

'' In fact, I find myself in a position to say that it may just be one of the best games I’ve had the chance of playing in recent memory, and this is coming from someone who isn’t a big fan of RPGs in general. I’ve simply never had the chance to find myself in a world that is this engrossing, this alive and this memorable. I didn’t think it was possible, but CD Projekt RED has managed to astound me, yet again.

This review is based on the PlayStation 4 version of the game''

5/5 from darkstation

'' I mentioned before that some games become pivotal points in industry. Games that deserve to be played by every gamer so it can be referenced as the industry’s standard bearer. When something is as close to perfection as possible in this world, we owe it to ourselves to see it. I can not wait to see what else is in store for Geralt and his fellow witchers, and what CD Projekt RED has planned for Cyberpunk. Make some room on your hard drive and shelf, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt deserves a permanent spot in your gaming library.''

10/10 from The Digital fix

''The WItcher 3: Wild Hunt is an outstanding achievement. It’s amazing in size and scale, both technically and in terms of RPGs. It looks great, it plays well and each and every mechanic can be gobbled up or left by the wayside as the player sees fit. It has strong characters of both sexes, and stronger events to get to know them through. It can last for hundreds of hours or twenty-five if you’d like it to (and are that good at it!). You’ll not want it to end, just like you didn’t want your very favourite RPGs of years’ past to end either. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will sit in that list now. There isn’t any higher praise.''

Back to 93, impressive.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I wonder why the XB1 version is rated lower? I would assume they are nearly the same in all aspects. Slightly weaker graphics? Something else?

Perhaps it is just different reviewers tastes and those reviewers are not even comparing it to the PS4 or PC versions.

Iguess graphics this days really matters, and 900p with low spettings isn't just enough. Although I'm playing on Lenovo Y50-70 just at 900p with all settings at hight/ultra. I got 32-36 fps with up to 48 at Skellige and tbh I don't see much difference between 1080p and 900p.
But again, XO probably has 900p and low settings.
Some people complain about bugs that seems to appear only on XO, I can't tell coz i don't own it.

Don't think its neccessarily because of the graphics, one of the lowest reviews for XB1 praises its graphics even. I think its just random as to how it turns out when one platform isn't reviewed even half as much as the other and there really isnt a reason as to why it is lower. Shadow of mordor was reviewed better than the ps4 version and there was no reason behind it either other than different reviews being used and the cherrypicking of multiplatform reviews.
