Forums - Gaming Discussion - Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 First Screens and details (Crossgen)

Putting to rest months of cryptic tweets from Tony Hawk, Activision and developer Robomodo have officially announced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 – a return to the classic gameplay of the series' heyday.

The game is slated to come out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later in the year, with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions following shortly thereafter.

As the name indicates, Pro Skater 5 is a call back to the old-school lineage of the first four titles – back when the franchise was in its prime. The game weds the series' finely tuned gameplay with new additions such as power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles for specific missions.

Some screeshots:

No WiiU? That seems like a missed opportunity...

Does that look good? It seems sterile to me...

It's like they want some people to hate the game.

Also, no PC? Interesting for sure.

Only girl skaters in the game? That's kinda sexist.

1. Cross-gen? Seriously this far along.
2. I hope those screen shots are 360/PS3 version as look really poor for X1/PS4.

I am mildly excited as loved THPS 1-4, and not much after that including an average remake they did a few years back.

No Wii U? :(

Come'on this would sell on par with the last-gen versions!

Would have purchased on Wii U.

On 360? Probably not...
