I dont understand what is so unbelieveble about shovel knight being released for PS+? Its an 8-Bit indie title, people allready treat it like its some high budget AAA game.

It's because it was only just released to PSN. So putting it on PS+ so soon would be a huge 'fuck you' from Sony to those that actually paid for the game. Doesn't exactly encourage confidence in buying future games from PSN if you know Sony could turn around and make it free a couple weeks after release.

They made it with a lot prior games too and ps+ games are no real games, if your subscription runs out you lose all your games. Its a rental service

I think it is fake too, but not for Shovel Knight. There's a rule about PS Plus that says that every game on the IGC must be rated at least 75 on Metacritic. Unless they got rid of this rule, Knack can't be possibly there (and neither The Order for example).

They've already broken that 'rule' before (Dynasty Warriors Next was there with a metascore of 67. It's happened other times too that's just the first example I thought of). So no reason to believe they won't do so again. I think Knack is pretty much guaranteed to be there, it's just a case of when.

Really? I wasn't aware of that! Then it can happen for sure. Still, I find strange that they are going to give only platformers for PS4... Not quite sure about this list.

And I just bought Shovel Knights for almost 20$. Now I really do feel as sad as my avy.

Though I think this source is questionable. The link only says it's "from a German PS blog" without providing the actual source or at least a translated segment of the alleged leak.

Which is exactly why this is unlikely to be true. And if it is... well, you should demand your money bag and if Sony don't comply then they are douches!

Agreed. I just double checked and Sony does refund digital games if they were bought at full price before they went on sale (depends on the regulations of the country set for the account). It seems unlikely that they would intentionally put themselves in that position.

If true Rayman and Knack will be downloaded ASAP.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Probably fake.
I do hope we will get Knack sometime in IGC.
Looked at ppl streaming it, and it looks interesting.
All the bad press mean i'm reluctant to buy it though.

not a bad list if it's true ...

Confirmed Fake by Shovel Knight devs. Can't Link right now, as I'm on my iPhone, but just look at Twitter.

Phew,

I bought Rayman in the Valentines day flash sale and didn't start playing it until recently.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

I hope Shovel Knight isn't true. It's too soon after release if they're not going to do it as a day one PS+ title like Monster Bag was. Really is a kick in the nuts to people supporting games day 1.

That said, I still plan buying Shovel Knight when I get paid next week even if it does end up being free to support the developer putting the game out on my preferred platform.
