As usual from me, just a small post. I was just wondering what folk thought of the idea.

As an idea though? Given that it's never over til it's over, it isn't beyond possibility that Sony decide to re-enter under another brand. That brand likely to be their biggest earner: Playstation.

Pointless, like that 3D TV they had for PS3. Don't think people bought it.

If I went a Ps4 and a laptop, I would buy bought. Both devices would probably be more stable that a Ps4 laptop ( Unless done professionally i.e. by Sony ) and both would have an interface I'm suited with for both devices.

I don't know about a laptop, but a small revision without a disk drive and with a screen attached to it, a la PS1, could work. Not until late in its life though.

Nope I'm against it. I don't like having PC stuff like web browsers on consoles either.
For PC needs I have my laptop.
For portable gaming I could buy a PS Vita.
If I owned the following devices, I could update my Facebook directly on a TV, on the console that's hooked up to the TV, on my phone, on my laptop, on the fridge, on my watch ffs. I don't need any more devices adopting jobs from other devices.
I guess another reason why I disagree is that I have my laptop and PS3 both hooked up to an LED monitor at the same time.

Anyway it would be pretty fucking cool, Ive always wanted a gaming laptop but they can be stupidly expensive for what they are. Plus PS4 has so many awesome exclusives, wouldnt want to miss out on them.

But, but, but the PS4 is already a laptop? Have you cracked that fucker open? Its laptop parts in it's guts! Go ahead and be a surgeon, rip that lil guy up and take a peek! :3

A PS4 laptop? It would pretty much just be a normal laptop at this point. With a beefy GPU.
