Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Smash Bros Patch Rids Game Breaking Mewtwo Bugs and Online Bans

Welcome to the Realm of Video Games

Mewtwo was recently introduced to Super Smash Bros early if you had bought both the 3DS and WiiU versions of the game.  Many players were reporting bugs with the introduction of Mewtwo including a game breaking bug.  Thankfully patch 1.07 has come to rectify this issue while also removing online bans that appeared to be a bug.

The Smash Boards are already on the case to see what all has been changed.  To see more patch notes including buffs and nerfs to your favorite characters please visit the Smash Boards in the link below

It's good they were able to fix this up real quick. Maybe that's why they released it early to the club nintendo members who bought both copies of the game, hahaha....

It still bothers me how they charge people to play 1 dollar more to have both the 3DS and Wii U version. That shouldn't be an option. It should be a single price for both games... >: /

Good to see that they dealt with it in a timely manner. Nintendo's really stepping up their online game.

I wonder if they're testing the incentive of people to buy both versions. Or maybe they just want more money. :P

Great to hear!

Now if only they could patch in some proper custom moves for Mewtwo.

It could be both... : / Though it could be that way for people who only own one version of the game. If both versions were under a same price, perhaps someone can give that code to someone else for free..? (If they do download codes....) That's all I have for a a reasons...

If you're talking about replays, they can't.

Replays are just recorded button inputs, and the fact that the patch changed the damage and knockback of some moves means that the replays will all be messed up.
