As a part of the Collaboration Event with The Last Story, a Special Quest will be available from 4/22/2015 to 5/30/2015 5PM (PDT).
The Last Story Quest will be available in the Arena. Taking place after their previous adventure, we hope you enjoy this new story following your favorite mercenaries.

Legit you had me think a sequel was confirmed...

Great... Well, maybe a new Last Story would be possible to happen if this does well enough. Though I kind of don`t want a new Last Story. It would be great if the game actually stayed true to its name.

it seems an expansion pack. but just one additional quest?

Well, at least they know the game still exists.

Maybe the story in this additional quest will prepare us for a sequel 

I'd be delighted if they made a Wii U HD sequel. I'd be there.

I would get the original if that was the case. And then I would proceed to buy the sequel (assuming I liked the first one, obviously).

(So basically exactly like my Xenoblade situation)
