Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox Sells 1.6m and XBL up 30% in FY Q3 2015

Welcome to the Realm of Video Games

Microsoft had its Fiscal Year Earning Report today and just announced that Xbox sold 1.6 million consoles in the quarter compared to 2.0 million last year.  This is 24% down year over year but all things aren't looking down with Surface up by 44% and Xbox Live up 30%.  It is no secret that this time of the year console sales will slow down and with Xbox 360 slowly fading away it may be expected that sales drop off year over year, but can Xbox One make a big splash later this year with their heavy hitters such as Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsports 6?  Let us know what you think below in the comments

Yes. Much of the drop is attributed towards the 360's decline, but still... with a $150 lower entry price plus games, you'd expect more from the XBO.
