Btw this seems like an official video made by Remedy. The game never went beyond this video.they instead went on to make Quantum Break.

I really liked where they were going with the rewriting fiction, seemed more in depth than the way it was executed in American Nightmare. Also really liked how enemies interacted with the environment.

Really hope they get to make Alan Wake 2 once QB is all wrapped up. Loved the original, and seeing as how there have been rumours of MS possibly remastering it, and considering Remedy has been talking quite a bit about the possibility of a sequel lately I think there's definitely a good chance.

maybe they released this to either make a publisher approach them on this, although it probably already was pitched to quite a few back then, or to evaluate/hype a possible kickstarter campaign once QB is ready to ship

They were going to call it Alan Wake 2? Sheesh, and here I was hoping they were going to make a game based on Alan's nephew: Alan Sleep...

Btw. I would love for them to make that sequel after Quantum Break. I have 2 limited edition copies of Alan Wake at home (X360 and PC). And I bought it on Steam. What? Don't judge! I like to have more than one copy of a game.

The enemy movement and animations are incredible. What a great looking game. They have to continue this.

Good demo, hope they go back into making it after QB.
