Choice number 2 please. I'm not in it for my friends, or what others are playing, I'm in it for for and possibly trying something new. That is where my decision lies.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

B, but I would really miss sports games. I don't give a shit about CoD or Battlefield anymore, but I still play a lot of NHL and the occasional Madden.

Sorry I hit a nerve. PS2 was known for its massive sports sim install base.

B. Don't care about sports titles, period. And I can live without gun games. But what about certain games that cross genres. Like GTA.
console b has shooters like halo and gears + racing games like forza and gran turismo?
don't need cod and bf if i can get the other biggest shooters out there
B, but the majority of gamers don't think this way. The majority want the annualized overdone series and that's why the majority go with Xbox and PlayStation over Nintendo and Pc (on both consoles and games). Vgcharts I'd not an accurate depiction of the gaming industry, as a whole, because people that go on forums like this are older and more intelligent than the typical gamer who just drinks mountain dew and plays wow/battlefield/ass.creed 5-10 hours a day.
B. I can live with old gen console sports games as I can just tweak the player rosters etc. then don't care that much on COD, BF kind of games. So Console B it is.
You could do better than this! let me show...
Console A: Military Shooters, Sports sim's, Racing sim's and GTA
Console B: Rest
