It would be better if it's not Roy, but he would also be quicker to develop since they already have a starting point for him. The right combination of fan support and ease of development will get DLC characters in, as shown by Mewtwo and Lucas.

I do hope that whoever comes out of that Smash Ballot is new though. I'm hoping for Rayman myself.

There are a couple of wrong things with your post, pls let me enlighten you :p

1. Roy is a character some people are attach too, like Snake for example in SSBB. If that was a main of yours or a much played character, i think you be asking for that character back to, just like anyone else would. Despite being a slightly different clone! :0

2. Your assuming this is apart of the ballot. Many, many people believe that there are more unannounced characters being made, like how Ryu+Roy sound victories are in the patch. That means it has nothing to do with the ballot, especially considering that nobody is voting for Ryu.

3. He might be easy to make, ading 1 extra character with little effort to make... having 54 characters is better than 53

Tharja or GTFO.

If the rumor of Roy/ryu is true, it wouldn't have anything to do with the ballot. Im super duper sure there are other characters being made now, even before the ballot. King K Rool seems like a lock for most votes imo.

Please, not another clone if it's for smash bros.

Try a original character, lika Micaiah (mage-only, nothing else)/ A laguz/manakete such as Lethe...And why not Hector from FE7 ?

I would like a FE for WiiU too, she deserve one good Fe, especially after the great POR/Radiant dawn.

The file name sounds and victory themes ect can be heard for yourself.
