Awesome, can't wait!

Still nothing to highlight (well, aside from that ending and the comment from Cinemassacre). A proper trailer wouldn't be bad by this point

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Meh, it doesn't look any better than the original post episode VI expanded universe story so far.

Bleh I am heading out to a conference tomorrow so I won't be back until Saturday night or Sunday. Otherwise I would dig into all the details with everyone! :)

I am so stoked for this movie myself but then again I am a huge Star Wars fan and honestly say what you will but Revenge of the Sith is my favorite. It's up there with Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi.

I think this movie is going to more than just impresses people. Surprisingly this trailer reviled way too much in my books. It confirms a few things that I have heard about the film prior and it looks like we are going to be in for one hell of a ride, and the final showdown is going to make some jaws drop!

Leieh versus Luke lightsaber battle confirmed.

I liked the trailer. I also like the fact they confirmed the desert planet is NOT Tatooine (thank god).

What really? Are you serious? He was one of the first cast members announced! They said the original cast was returning from the get go. Luke is the one narrating in this new trailer. Han will be in this film, but from my understanding he will not return for the rest of the trilogy. Luke and Leia will likely stick around but Harrison Ford wants out. I have a reason to believe my sources but if standed correct, Hans fate will shock and rock the whole world! It will be a very lasting impact to long time fans of the series and will shatter the characters in the film. Rumor has it his death is what triggers one of the new characters to embrace the darkside.

PS. How do you do the spoiler tag on this site? I think I am in a deep need to know if I am to continue talking about this movie.

Is episode vii a canonical successor, meaning those who read books and comics already know what will happen?

When was the Leia vs Luke battle confirmed? From what I know it's going to be much more complicated than that. Regarding a huge cast of new characters. From my understanding there will be an amazing saber battle with Luke but not without consequences. Luke has become more force sensitive and needs to isolate himself. There are rumors that he can feel the force around him and has a deep connection with the force. In other words he in theory has surpassed Yoda himself. I don't think he's on his way to the dark side but if he can use the force to know everything in the past present and future he may try to prevent one of those dark outcomes and that could result in some drastic consequences. A huge misunderstanding that could trigger a fight with someone he once held dear.

In other words Luke could appear to be the villain but when in reality he is still a hero. The knowledge he has gives him the power to prevent disasters and he may trigger a chain reaction.

I am glad that Planet is not Tatooine either. They have been saying that for a while though. then again that was just a rumor and speculation.
