Yeap, im laughing about the Kirby situation especially. A thread was made calling Kirby a flop, and i made a thread stating it wasnt.

Triple Deluxe was in a similar boat, starting off 42k First month (rainbow curse 52k), yet ended up over 350k and still selling.

Dont know why people act like Rainbow Curse was a huge game especially in budget, 110k without holiday where it'll easily double this figure (nov/dec)...

Im honestly surprised about MP10, i was expecting 100k~ish

I made an unofficial bet with fatslob that Kirby would pass 500k lifeftime globally. (He said it wouldn't)

And yeah, I expected lower for MP10 also, especially after its critical roasting.

That bet! Canvaw Curse on DS, worse Spin off did 850k+, A WiiU game i guess would do 300k-350k lifetime.

Buttt... 110k sold most likely means 130k+ Shipped, maybe 150k. add in rest of NA 145k-160k. Japan shipped over 100k, so its definitely 250k lifetime shipped now without Europe + Holidays!

400k is a lock, 500k definitely is possible!

I didn't make a concrete bet with stakes, I just said it would and he said it wouldn't.

With legs, I think 500k lifetime globally is possible.

Brawl had a bigger opening than even Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U combined, even with a smaller install base (8.8 million Wii vs 15 Million 3DS + Wii U) and during a non-holiday month. Now, let's look at 6 months into their lives, keep in mind, that both Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U had the advantages of both a combined larger install base AND the holiday season.:

6 Months into lifetime:
Brawl: 3.3-3.5 Million
3DS: 2.4 Million

4.5 Months:
WIU: 1.6 Million

Though, I have to honestly ask, how many people actually think that a good portion of Smash Bros. 4 buyers weren't people who bought both of them? That's rather silly, i'd say that at least half a million of them have bought both.

(all numbers are based on available NPD data)

...and oh, Kirby is doing pretty well leg-wise, despite not having literal legs. Toad too! Codename BOMBA
