As we all know the release of MGSV is fast approaching and the closer we get to release, the more douche like manoeuvres Conami (I'm spelling it this way on purpose) is pulling to wipe away Kojima's name.

This is one of those rare opportunities that we can do something as gamers united regardless of console affiliation. We need to send Conami a strong message, not via petition but via Twitter. we need a good hashtag and we need to fill the twittersphere with it. This ladies and gentleman gentlemen is Operation Conami.

I'm about to go to work, but to get us started, can someone find the Konami handle and can we agree on a hashtag?

Why should his name be on the game?

Does Miyamoto put his name on every Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid Prime and Pikmin game?

Why was the nintendo seal of quality on games?

To show that the game would work on the system and was officially licensed by Nintendo and not some random party making a quick game unofficially and releasing it. It was never about the quality of the game itself.

Yeah I know that. You should've put two and two together since every konami game that doesn't have "a hideo kojima game" is trash quickly made and released for a buck.

Just like the once revered franchises silent hill and castlevania. Headed by the Masahiro Ito and Koji Igarashi respectively.

EDIT: The Nintendo seal of quality was initially introduced during a time when the public had lost faith in gaming because of low quality games. The Nintendo seal was meant to convince people that each game had reached a certain level of professional standard. It was always about quality. Nintendo even said it was meant to give the market faith in the product. That is what quality means.

Cojima can't do no wrong, although we don't even know the details of a possible matter speculated on the web.

What if we don't give a shit about Kojima or Metal Gear. Can people like us still help without doing anything?
